PEISAA Intermediate Male December Athletes of the Month

Ryan Reid is a Grade 9 student at Summerside Intermediate School and has been an integral part of the SIS Owls A Basketball team this season

Each month the PEISAA picks a male and female intermediate and senior athlete of the month. The winners are featured nationwide across Canada on the School Sport Canada website located here: https://www.schoolsport.ca/

Ryan is leading the team with an average of 25 points per game through the first half of the basketball season. Ryan has been the leader of this team for the past 2 seasons both on and off the court. As a leader he is vocal and a inspirational figure on the team, leading with both his words and his actions. The team takes its directions and cues from Ryan's work ethic and approach to the game and his dedication and enthusiasm. As well as playing basketball, Ryan is a competitive swimmer and participated in the Canada Games this past summer where he established several provincial records.
