SPARTANS WIN SEMI_FINAL - PLAY FOR GOLD WED 8PM H COLLEGE
Mother Nature's shifting playoff games continued to wreck havoc on the ability of teams to compete as sa full squad as players were torn with commitments. Tuesday Souris had played without top scorer Isaac Chaisson who returned this evening to once again dominate on the attack and on the boards. Friday, Colonel Gray 2 was forced to play without star David Elsigna who had scored a game high 27 points in their 1/4 Final game Tuesday. Friday's Semi in Souris had the Spartans doubling Gray at halftime 26-13 in a contest in which every member of the Spartan team scored. Rookie Steven Acorn consistently blocked Gray's attack. Gray came out hot from the 3 point line after halftime to put in a quick 10 point run and continued to drive hard lead by the determination of Christian Morrison but was not able to match the flexibility and speed of the Souris squad. Top scorer for Souris; Isaac Chaisson 15, Matthew Antle 13, Jacob MacPhee 9 and Gray2 Christian Morrisson 17, Caleb Briggs 9, Seth Doyle 4. Final Score Souris 61 Gray2 34.
