#1 RAIDERS over #4 COLONELS IN SEMI-FINAL 75-50At the half Ch'town Rural #1 Raiders behind 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals by Amy Plaggenhoef plus 13 points from Devon Lawlor were leading the #4 seeded Col Gray Colonels 35-16. Helena Vos had 9 for the Colonels at halftime. Plaggenhoef added her 4th and 5th three-pointer in the third quarter as the Raiders controlled 54-32 and went on to a 75-50 victory.
Top scorers for Rural: Plaggenhoef 26, Lawlor 24, Jaelyn Power 6, Taylor Mitten 4 with 11 rebounds
Top scorers for Col Gray: Vos 22, Sydney Strain 11, Rylee Connolly 6 with 11 rebounds
The Raiders will play for gold Tuesday at UPEI at 6pm while Col Gray plays for bronze also at UPEI Tuesday at 2pm.
