Birchwood scored late to tie and got the only goal in extra time to beat East Wiltshire 2-1 and win Gold at the 2021 PEISAA Intermediate AA Girls Soccer Provincials, sponsored by Grant Thornton. Summerside Intermediate defeated Queen Charlotte in penalty kicks to prevail 1-0 and claim the Bronze.
